Ford 1310 - where is reverse?

Lift the "main shifter" up and pull down.
That is reverse.
Down down is 3rd gear forward.
down up is 1st, up up is 2nd.

OR if easier to understand,
Down/forward is 1st gear forward.
Up/forward is 2nd.
Down/back is 3rd.
Up/back is reverse.

The 4 speed is a range shifter, the higher the number, the faster the ground speed.
