I know it was made in Japan, I'm not for certain if it was Yanmar or not. It is the perfect size for my yard, although I'm having starting problems with it right now... and no time to mess with it. So at the moment it is just sitting, which is killing me on days when I could be using it. My second "job" is web designing, hosting and it has been really busy, I look forward to having more time to get back out side and to it.
