My 1986 ford 1510 has all of a sudden developed a problem. When the engine is turned off, the 3pt hitch arms fall. I have turned the knob in front of & just below the seat, but this has had no effect. Any ideas on what I should check? Thanks, Greg
My 1710 did the same thing, change out your hydraulic fluid. If your tractor sets outside all the time condensation forms in the transmission over time.Check your fluid to see if it has a milky color. This is a good sign that water is in your transmission. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Also when you drain your oil out of your transmission dont forget to drain out your rear end. They share the same sump but have to drain them separatly. I dont think not filling up the filter is a problem when you start the engine up it fills the filter first. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
