Ford 1600 will not start

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to say, it does the exact same thing hot or cold. I think it is an electrical issue but I can't seem to pin it down. Unless anyone else has any other thoughts, I suppose the next step is to remove the starter and have it bench tested?

fer sure.. pull the starter for a looksee..

The problem with my Ford 1600 turned out to be a frozen piston. Sad to say, I had no other choice but to trade it in for a J.D. 850.
