No, its factory. My concern is I thought this tractor used a universal sump for the hydraulics, transmission, and rear end as there is only one fill point. That being the case, why would there be only one inch of fluid in the sump where the screen is located when the others are full? I have also noticed that there is what appears to be a flush rubber plug to the left of the steering column that might be where a dipstick/fill point once was........any ideas????

i'd have to see pics of that plug you speak of.

I'm not familiar with the sump arangement on the 1600, I've simply not owned one.

I know some ford and NH machines have rear and hyds common and tranny seperate, some are all common, and some are all separate.
