I've got a adapter block on my 1700 that I have hooked to a backhoe. Well I drug home a front loader and need another circuit. I was hoping to be able to 'stack' the adapter blocks to have two somewhat separate circuits. Not sure of the fluid paths but two bores flow thru but one is plugged and fluid only flows thru the straight fitting. I was wondering if I were to drill out the one of the blocks could both blocks function?
thanks, Brian

Can't you just tap into the power beyond on the BH valve to run the loader?

I don't have a power beyond on the bh. I only have a block identical to the one pictured.

I have a few pics on a other threads on this website. This is a craigslist tractor. Found the '81 Ford 1700 in 4wd. Picked up a Liberties Unlimited inc LW-6 backhoe and have it moving around. (need to make subframe) Then found 770a loader that hopefully will get fitted this weekend. Put new front tires and bought new kingpin bushings. The block shown was used by previous owner to run a cement mixer. I ran those lines to the backhoe. The ford manuals show a block similar to what I have running the loader. Figgered two blocks would do what I want. But that ain't how they work.
I can take other pics for specific views.

If that 3rd hole goes to tank.. Why not get the PB fitting for the loader run to BH. Drill and tap the 3rd hole on the other side.

Well I have it all working, loader and backhoe. Probably not optimal but I haven't noticed a drop in performance, yet... So while reading up on control valves I came across a comment that fluid flowed thru the valve while the valves were not being operated. With that in mind, I plumbed the lines so oil flowed from the loader valve to the BH valve and then back to the tank. In series rather than parallel as I had originally planned. Out line from FEL to in port on BH. I have a QD in line so I can bypass / disconnect the BH as it won't be used most of the time. Not quite "power beyond" but seem to work.
Thanks
Brian

I think I'm following what your saying. You have to feed one valve from the pump, the BH usually gets the direct feed. Then, power beyond to the loader valve. Doing it the way you are is putting back pressure on the loader "out" valve.

The only other port I have come across is on the loader valve and it is unidentified. Much like every port on the 770a valve. Any clue as to what the indicated port could be? I have been unable to find any info on this valve.
