ford 1710

I intend to install r4 tires and wheels on my 1710 4wd tractor. In order to accomplish this, I need to know the actual height of the factory installed turf tires, both front and rear. Could someone please measure their's for me. Proper replacement size is important for correct lead and lag. HELP.

Why not just look at what NH is now putting on for industrials (R4s) on the TC-30? Same tractor for the most part. As other's have noted though, you'll have to change the rims.

I have a spare set of 13.6x16 wheels and tires (R3 turf) for sale if you still need them?Came off of a 1700 2wd, but is the same part # as my 1710 2wd.

I would like to replace the turf tires on my 1710 ford tractor with regular ag tires. What should I do?

Measure the diameter of the tires that you have on there now and put turf tires on with same diameter. If you plan on driving around in 4 WD all the time, then that is wrong thing to be doing. As you turn the fromt end you will be getting a different tire ratio all the time.

You need to find a manual that list the correct tire size to keep the front to rear ration within spec.

You will need new wheels too because they are narrower.
