Hey all looking for some pics of your 1720 backhoe subframes factory or homemade specifically the front end that attaches near the loader posts i recently purchased a 758a backhoe off a 1510 but the 1720 uses a 757b backhoe and has a differnt front end loader setup so i need to fab something to bolt my 758a backhoe to up front (my tractor is a 1720 with 7108 loader) thanks

Here is how the 757B mounts to 20 series tractors up to the 1720 size. The 758B was not recommended for the 1720 so there is no mount kit. I hope this helps. Reference #10 in the illustration is the 3 point lower link mount pin on your tractor.

Thank you ihave been unable to find that diagram despite looking for hours...I have also seen that mount and thought it was homemade as it seems chinsey compared to the smaller 1510s mount the 758a is a large backhoe im not sure that will be strong enough

Edit im talking about#15 on the diagram and im willing to try it out went to cnh indrustrail cant find it there so tried a wider internet search still cant find it im not sure what im doing wrong here

I have an 757a that I installed on a 1910 with a Woods loader. I had to fabricate sub frame mounting brackets to match the original. I incorporated a block inside the pocket to match the original notch in the subframe arms.0808201758.jpg

#15 is fabricated from 1/2 inch mild steel and is essentially the same part that was used on 759Cs on 2120s. The backhoe has little leverage that far from the rear mount. Best thing you can do is weld it to the loader mount so you are not depending on two bolts to secure it. Those two bolts are the only weak part of the front mount on a 20 series tractor.
You will not find any factory mounts for an A series hoe to fit a 20 series tractor or a 758B to fit a 1720. They do not exist although a 758B on a 1920 would be substantially the same.

Thank you chander I like your setup no bolts or pins to mess with and thats better then what i was thinking of doing. Is that plow hardware you cut to fit on your loader post? Or did you make that tourself?

And rick i know they dont make brackets for the 758a to my 1720 I was thinking about modifying #15 to fit if i had to i realize whatever i use will have to be customized

I had to fabricated those brackets. If you feel it is easier, you could drill holes through those brackets to secure the backhoe arms in place. As you know these backhoes aren't the easiest to install and remove with the lower three point connecting point.
