ford 192 turbo engine injection pump questions

I’ve seen them where they won’t hit on some “quick start”.. it’s just the nature of the beast..
U either know how to do it or u don’t..

200 rpm’s minimum..at cranking.
That thing is like a WATCH..
1 wrong thing will throw off the whole works.
Now if u tell me your a watch repair man, I can work with that..

yeah, im definetly not getting 200 rpms. I charged the battery and it starts to fire but its really cold here and the battery dies before it has a chance to self sustain. I will try to use the sledgehammer method - ether it. After unplugging the manifold heater of course.

I was too stubborn to give up. after running it on half a can of ether, it finally got the air out of the lines and started up. Despite my efforts to loosen the lines and purge the air, there was still some in there which was not letting it run. Now it fires up almost instantly and runs much better than it has before. I was pretty excited when it started up.
