Trying to help my son with his 2000.
I think its a 74
It is a 3 cyl with a holly carb.
At low speed it runs fine.
When you put it under load, or even go from idle to full, it takes a few seconds to wind up.
It seems like the high speed mix is too rich.
I'm not familiar with this carb and I cant find any high speed adjustment. Just the idle mix.
Does it have an adjustment, and if so where is it?
If not is there anything that would cause it to act this way other then the float?
It runs fine at low speeds and high speeds once the governor pushes the throttle back a bit.
Its only when its full throttle.
