The more you look at the photo the more you see.
I think he kinda goofed up on the height setting on the nose. They have two settings and he should have had it on the lower one. Makes the nose look too tall and the gap in the rear of the hood widens at the bottom.
It might be British. Steps plates do look wider than US ones and I "think" I can see the handle for the EU style hand brake.
Nose has been replaced with an aftermarket 3600 style one. Home made grill.
Looks like 2 different sizes of rear tires - look at the rear end shot of the tractor.
Generator has been replaced with an alternator. So likely doesn't have a tach drive.
Never, EVER trust the hours on a 65 - 75 2/3/4/5000 Ford unless you actually SEE the numbers turning over with your own eyes. They failed early and often.
Clutch pedal height makes me think it has live PTO. No way to know from here tho.
Has the good kind of lower lift arms with convertable balls from cat 1 to cat 2 which is nice.
8N draw bar is not heavy enough to carry what the tractor would carry.
Slight bend to the RH radius rod.
Missing the 4 little pieces of decorative tin under the dash which are hard to find
Can't quite tell if it has differential lock which is a great feature.
Though I would never give up PS on my own 3000 they don't steer too bad without it.
They are outstanding small tractors though definately not 47 hp. 38 hp is more like it.
Good parts availability - both new and used, not hard to work on. Rugged, reliable, nimble, yet powerful for it's size. Very good choice for mowing, gardens, deer plots, etc.
Lots of used (or new) 3 point implements available.
I love my 3000.
I have and have had other Ford tractors but they will have to pry my 3000 from my cold, dead fingers.
Don't despise it's sister the 2000 (the 3 cylinder one) which is nearly identical, and the 2600, 3600s are the same tractors too just a little newer and a couple small improvements.
