I'm new to the forums.
I bought a 1969 Ford 3000 gas 8 speed live PTO. It the first tractor real tractor I have owned personally.
It is a project for me and the boys to work on, but I will work it as well. The dual stage clutch grinds when engaging PTO and it has a little blow by when it warms up. I have already bought the Ford Factory Service Manual. I did the free play adjustment on the clutch pedal, but it still grinds. It appears to a clutch change is at hand. I would like to do the clutch and the in frame rebuild myself. I thought I would ask the experts if they think this could be accomplished by a novice. I have a mechanical background and a better than average selection of tools.
Thanks for any input
