Never seen 'em with a bend (other than ones I've bent by accident 
) I've owned a couple 3000's and always used the straight "flat bar" type as is commonly sold at outlets like TSC.

I googled both left and right, and went to the cheapest site. While there, I decided to order some additional parts. So I added several small parts; PTO bearing and seal, ect. Anyway, the parts came to about $90, which included 2 stabilizers ($48). At checkout the shipping came to a whopping $88! I went elsewhere and paid the $8 more for the stabilizers and shipping was $15.
