Does Ford 3600 transmission oil and diff oil share the same level

No. The transmission is checked through the dipstick on tipoff the transmission. The rear end should have a 1/4" pipe plug on RH side of rear axle case just ahead of the axle about half way down. Thus is the level check. The filler is the large plug on top of the rear axle. There are two. Either one gets the job done.
