man the 4000 and 5000 series was some good tractors, at one time around here every one had one or the other. can't wait to see it finished.

I know 5000s are outrageous on price around and sound guy your right while your on here do you anything about the metering vale in the injection pump its a CAV

probably gonna have to ask rickb or whodat about the metering valve. I don't do as much work on the newer diesels.

Hood radiator shell and cowl painted still have to add the white in the middle of the good to finish it off

i used to use the older bps/valspar. havn't done to much with the new yet.

All I can say with the tractor supply paint is WOW came out glossy and has a show car finish ill take some pics with my I phone and post

i've never had a problem with alkyd or acrylic modified enamils, or synthetic enamils having a gloss, as long as i used hardner...

Yeah that's what my paint guy did he use the hardener and reducer they said to use but he said he had to use more reducer
