Ok so got the power steering line on my ford 445 backhoe fixed yesterday ran the machine for about 30 minutes then out of no where it surged a few times and cut off I thought my Be out of fuel so I put 5 gallons in it then it started to rain So I ran in the house came out 45 minutes later Turn the key and after a few turns over it starts up I thought cool so I shut it down for the night Got home today fired it up. It ran for five minutes then cut off cannot get it to crank back up so started checking I致e got fuel all the way to the pump but none at the injectors any ideas what else I can check

Thanks in advance

By chance did u change the fuel filter while u were working on it??
It sounds as if your running out of fuel.. just using up whats in the filters & then theres nothing else.??
& then it slowly fills the filter back up{next day/several hours}
How did it run before u started working on the line??
"WHEN" was the last time u changed the filters??
The MOST COMMON mistake when changing those filters is>> the TOP oring MUST go UP INSIDE the filter head.. NOT ON the filter.
If u put it ON the filter, it chokes off the fuel & u end up w/ the symptoms your describing..

I just bought the machine two weeks ago and I had to make repairs to the power steering line it was running fine I did remove the filter to inspect and it is dated August 3, 2018 so it’s not old and it looks good I have plenty of fuel leaving the filter going to the injector pump but none going to the injectors and now it will not start at all Also yes the O-ring was left inside the housing when the filter was removed and replaced. Are there any bleeders on the injector pump I should be aware of

Thanks for any and all help you can give

Yes, a bleeder by the name plate..
.double screw.. 5/16 bleeder into a 7/16 body..oosen the 5/16 & spin the engine until no air comes out & tighten.
Then loosen the lines at the injectors.. ALL OF THEM at the same time.. NOT 1 at a time & spin it till fuel comes out..
Be careful>> you don't wanna burn out the starter.. Good luck

So Thank you again
