Sickle Bar Ford 501

I just bought this mower at auction ,I didn't buy it I legally stole it $10.00 . It appears to all be there.

The two ball shaped ends on arms pointing forward where should they attach or what is their purpose .It is still on my trailer at the sale location .
I understand the clamp system on the left side and I presume the arm on the right just rides under the right hand lift arm .

I expect a new belt will be needed and maybe a pitman ,not sure how bad it has rotted.

You really, really need to take pictures and post them.

If you can't figure out how, just say so and you'll get guidance.

Got it mounted ,read a few threads on various forums and concluded all the parts were there and got a little insight as to what was going to happen .Just trying to get the knife head off and refurbish the cutting system . Can't get the upside down picture flipped.
