Tires Ford 5030 fwd tire size?

I have a 1995 Ford/NH 5030 fwd that has 9.5-24 tires on front and 18.4-24 tires on rear. I bought it used this way.

It sits low in the rear. Is it supposed to have 28 or 30 inch tires in rear to match ratios with front?

I have a two wheel drive 4630 and it has 16.9-30 tires in rear and sits level.

It should have a 24, 28 or 30 tire on the back. I can check a manual and let you know.

I would appreciate that. I am guessing 16.9-30 but would like to be sure before I buy new rims and tires.

I don't have the 5030 price book page, but I do have the 4630 page which shows 8.3x24 or 9.5x24 matched to 14.9x28. 11.2x24 matched to 16.9x30.
It is not perfect, but you could change out 8.3's for 11.2 on the same rim if you are changing all your tires or want wider tires.

No, that's why they pair it with the 16.9 x 30. I would have to look it up in a tire chart, but I think that the 11.2 x 24 is at least 1.5" taller.
