So, I've been looking for a first tractor and while the Ford 545D is on the large side for me, a couple municipal owned low hour ones in my price range have popped up. Unfortunately, they all don't have loaders and some google searches haven't revealed to me if it's possible to add one relatively easily. Is this something that can be done without much effort, and what size loaders should I be looking for if I pick this one up? I can throw a bale spear on the 3pt for now but having the loader to help me deal with snow and more easily move bales would be nice.

The auxiliary brand loader company's will fit a loader to almost anything, and they are of good quality. They don't have the allure of the base brand, though.

Self install is about 7,000.

Have never seen a 545D w/o a loader?

EDIT:
Rick B, Certainly do not doubt you, as it seems you were in the business. Just wasn't aware . Seems like loader capacity and ability was primarily main selling point of tractor.

Ever see a 4wd. W/O a loader?
