Hello, I would like to know if anyone else has had this shuttle shift problem with a 555 b Ford. When first started in warm weather the shuttle doesn't fully engage ,but after driving around on the level for 5 minutes does engage but is slow to engage ( helps to rev it 1500 ) when it does go in it is a very solid shift, if you have a situation were you can do some heavy pushing to warm the trans up to 120 - 150 degrees it will work perfect and very strong from then on, otherwise I found that if I put it in 4th gear, give it a rev until it engages then hold it against the torque until well warmed up I get the same effect, I have changed the oil and filter several times and am quite certain that the sump screen is clean, when warm it will fill the front bucket in 3rd gear, goes from forward to reverse instantly, but when left to cool down too far, it goes back to it's old ways. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you D.L.
