One would assume that the first place to look would be schematics online, to see if there is a filter. And if so, where it is. Probably my fault for not including a link.
I suppose from now on everyone else should just leave all Ford/NH questions alone until Soundguy comes along. Maybe we can get a Soundguy section started, so he doesn’t have to be bothered by us dumb people on the rest of the forums.
Not sure what the chip on your shoulder is from. If it’s with me, send a PM and we’ll take care of it. There’s no reason to de-rail a thread just to take a shot at me.

I'm trying to keep you from derailing the thread by telling the guy to change/check a non existant filter! :) that's all.

the person that owns the tractor needs to know their machine, and the person helping the owner needs to know the machine too... that's all I'm saying.

Heck, for all I know, his turbo encabulator is running fine!

When that happens to me, all I ever do is crack the bleeder screw on the pump head with the engine running. It is the one toward the front of the pump and on the back side towards the engine block. You will need an allen wrench that is cut off to turn it. I think it is 5/16". Mine is a straight section of an allen wrench about 3/4" long. I turn it with a combination wrench. Usually the hydraulics start working within 10 seconds.
