Success! Naturally I connected the lines backward at first, but once I switched them everything ran like a champ! I appreciate the assistance!

I have a partially related question....Now that I've connected the backhoe, I'd like to change the hydraulic fluid and filter. I have found an inexpensive filter made by Donaldson. Is it worth using this brand to save some money? What level of filtration is recommended by Ford for these tractors (the Donaldson claims 99% efficiency at 40 microns)?

I used a Napa hydraulic filter on my 1710, just a bit older than a 1720.

Stangusso,

I'm trying to install rear hydraulics on my 1720 so I can hook up a Woods bh70-x backhoe. Could I trouble you for some pictures of your hydraulics to use as an example for mine?

Thanks!
