Ford 7710 won't run

Check your filters and make sure they have seated properly and the gasket has not come out of place. There should be a top gasket, a bottom gasket and a O-Ring for the bolt. As you tighten the filter, give a little turn to make sure it seats well. Lastly, go threw and double check all the lines you might have taken off and make sure they are tight and make sure the shutoff valve is opening all the way. When you bleed the filters, are you getting good fuel flow by gravity? You should have good flow out the bleeder if the top tank is full.

Does your tractor happen to have an electric fuel pump? If so does it have elect power?

Thanks to everyone for all of the suggestions.

Been crazy busy at work and finally had a minute to get back to work on the tractor. I checked everything that was suggested and once again primed the system using the hand pump. My dad stopped by and I had him turn the engine over as I tried to see what was going on. Tractor fired up, ran for about 30 seconds and died. Had my dad turn the engine over again as I looked for leaks and I found it.

The drain for the sedimenter was leaking, but only when the tractor was being turned over. Just a couple of drops. I assume the pressure from the pump was pulling air into the system and allowing just a little fuel to escape. Since I have been doing this myself, I never got to see. I originally thought it was fuel from where I primed the system. Anyway, fixed the leak on the drain screw, primed the system again, fired right up and hasn't missed a beat since.

Amazing the frustration a tiny little leak will cause. :mur:
