i sold it last week to a old man in texas for 3500 and he was goin to restore it cause all it needed was two front tires and a good sanding and paint job really but that was the first one i had ever seen around here that wasn't all messed with by somebody

it's nice not having to spend a week of time and materials ( flap disc, sand pads, strippers ) to get all the old paint off, before you can even 'start' work on the restoration.

Thanks for all your replys. After a closer look past the nice paint job I noticed they also painted the hoses, belts, and wireing harness. Also saw some loose wires so with the price he was asking I let it pass. He also had a 641 with the same kind of paint job $3900 and a 8N, a little rough for $2500. So he is priced way too high on the whole lot.

hoses, belts and spark plug wires shouldn't come to mor ethan 60$ for one of them tractors.. no reason to have painted ones. either mask off if good/newish.. or replace if older.. AFTER painting.
