Egon, that was my train of thought. Soundguy, if you have all the time in the world or just like taking things apart or can't stand not having things perfect, you are right. However, if the goal is to mow the dam grass, you do what is quick and easy, so long as it doesn't hurt the engine. Leave the choke out or adjust the carb, whichever makes you feel better.
