What Bullit said. 9N's are pretty primitive. IMO, the number of gears on a tractor don't seem to mean much after about three. Unless you enter drag races with your tractor.

I disagree. Finding the right speed for a given job is easier when there are more choices.

But I do agree to stay away from the 9N. The only thing that makes a 9N worth anywhere $2K is the $1K Sherman in its belly.
