How much could I expect to pay for an old Ford 8n in pretty good shape with bush hog ?

Depends on what you call "pretty good shape." There's still quite a few of them in my area, and they usually go for $2,000 to $4,000 depending on condition.

Last year a local guy sold a total rebuild and rotary mower with "over running clutch" and loader for $5,000.00. I have to admit, it was in great shape. The norm is $3,000 to $5,000, again depending on condition of tractor and what's tied to the back.
They are like old trucks, still get used.

Here in Vermont the average 8N in "pretty good" condition will cost you $2,000 to $2,500. The used five foot bush hog about $500. Hope this helps.
