Ok thanks. I see you have a few of these 900 how good are they in your opinion. And also how much is a 1 arm loader worthe for a 900 with all brackets and hardware.

pricey.. but if you have a core.. and want PS.. that's yer option i guess.

most 1 arm loaders I put at around 150$ value for the loader itself... less is the bucket or cyl(s) are bad., maybee a hair more if it is minty with new lines.. etc.

On a ag model. the front braket can be torched from 1/2" plate. on a rowcrop... the front bracket is a lil more intracate.. but can still be torched from 1/2" plate with a lil welding tossed in ..

the lower tras bracket is a 3/8" strip of metal. easy to make.. the hip / side tranny bracket is the special one.

I have seen those side bracekts go for 75-100$ the front bracket.. if you want a real one. I can see that going for 50$.. so use those as ballpark figures.

if it is a trip loader, it will only have a lift cyl, and you have a few options to power it.. if it has a bucket cyl, then you need 2 spool valves, 1 side being DA, one side being SA.

now.. the tricky part. the laoder frames were made to fit 3 cyl and 4 cyl machines. the 4 cyl ones have a 5.5" box, when measured front a face to the post, ( not on a corner ).. the ones for a 3 cyl are 3.5". there are conversion offset hip brackets that let you use a 3.5" box model on a 4 cyl.. those are even more rare than the 4 cyl brackets.. which seem to be the most available.

for powering it.

if you have a hyd valve on the top cover, and it is a trip model.. you are set.

if it is a hyd bucket model, or you only have a diverter valve.. you can either get a ford style valve, or get a power beyond plate and a cheap dual spool valve.. or use your diverter to run a cheap 2 spool valve. could even chain the 3pt and run that dual spool valve and loose 3pt during that time..

lotsa options.

i love the rowcrops. they are what i use the most nowadays.. the narrow fronts will turn on a dime. easy to see when mowing. the wide frots are fine too... keeps you outta the dust and weeds a lil more than an ag chassis when mowing.

Ok ya i already have the loader and brackets and there all original too. Just wanted to know as its for sale. Ya i have been around fords alot my pap has had me around tractors since i was about 3 im now 16 and love the fords and the 2 cyl. John Deere's my pap has a 2110 lgc. 2n,2 8n's,to30,jd mt,640 ford 64 4000 ford,861,and this 960. We have always wanted to do a 900 and found this on it was a basket case, now it runs like new and drives nice . I got to use it once until the steering cylinder did this an it handled a 7 foot hog like there was nothing back there, and it handled very good for that old of a tractor IMO.
