We use a power down auger building fences. We mount it on one side of front end loader. Pull it up and tilt it horizontal to get dirt off auger. Make sure you make it to tilt horizontal, as that bees handy.
We also use a 3 point auger. It seems it won't dig, but a new tip and cutting edge on beginning of auger fixes that. Plus I keep a 15" adjustable wrench handy to bend it back down occasionally.
