You missed the context of the thread which is Ford, they will not use iOS. QNX is open, if you wish to develop you may, 10 Steps to Developing a QNX Program: Quickstart Guide.

No sense getting insulting with another member and no need to hijack the thread over to iOS versus Andriod applications either. Both sides of the fence have a full offering of applications, for iOS, you have more of the same than you will find on Android.

Please post a link to at least one of your mentioned 12 apps. I searched 6 months ago for an app in iTunes and came up empty. Maybe a bunch of developers have recently published apps.

I was a long time iphone user and recently switched to the dark side and bought a Samsung note 3 partially for the desire of getting the torque app. My main reason was to be able to place my memory card from my gopro in my phone and edit and view videos. Apple is stupid to not offer a memory card slot. BTW, loving the computer like usability of the droid over the iPhone.

If you want ODBII data, get the Android App Torque with a Bluetooth adapter. Well worth the $30 ($25 for adapter - $5 for the app) You can demo the free version. I love the torque app. I only paid $15 for my adapter from amazon.

Just did a couple of searches. Punched in "Torque" and got hits for Engine Link, OBD Fusion, iOBD2,EOBD Facile-Car diagnostics, Dyno Chart OBD II, NovaScan, and PerfExpert so far. There were 107 hits under the word "torque".
A search of No Link turned up a bunch of children's games.
Does anyone have any experience and/or suggestions on which app and which adapter to use? Engine Link's description states to use an ELM compatible adapter.

I'm a Ford guy, but I'm betting what we can find aftermarket for $40 would be a $350 option from the factory! :laughing:
