Ford Mower value

Hi Guys,

Have an opportunity, but not sure if it's worth the $$.

This is a 5' mower, needs a new tensioner pulley (seems easy enough to fab up or get at TSC). Surface rust only, flails look to be in good shape. No idea how old it is.

What would you be willing to pay if you had the opportunity?

Hmm 200$ max.. if I knew the guy and knew it ran good and he looked hungry.. otherwise.. 150$-ish..

Yeah... he was asking $400.

It seems impossible to find used implements down here. Every once in a while a rotary or flail mower comes available and they're over-priced crap.

I've only got 2 acres I want to clear two or three times a year and that does not justify spending 8-$1200 on a new mower.
