Ford One Arm Loader 19-209 (711) & Ford 4000

I'll try to post a picture soon, but it is the bellcrank part that is broken. The round holes (on the loader arm side) where the pivot pin resides split open and let the arm break off. This, in turn, broke the cylinder.

So, if I could locate an arm, I'd be in business. If I could locate an entire loader, that would be OK, too.

any chance you could rebuild the section where the pin rides.. IE.. machine a top cap to fit, then weld strapping around it to capture the pin. then repair the bellcrank in a similar fashion?

the hyd loaders are quite a bit more rare than the trip loaders.. and you'd need a hyd model to scavange parts from.

post that pic when you get a chance.

any of you guys tell me where i can find the mouting hardware for my loader?
somehow we lost the hardware,and wife is after me big time to get it back on the tractor.( 19-209 on a ford 4000)
any help will be greatly appreciated.

I constantly scan all the sales and auction sites looking for 1-arm loader hardware. the brackets for the 4 cyl 55-64 come up every few months. the brackets for the 3 cyl modles come up every few years... and once I even saw a set for an 8n, and for a NAA ( and bought it ). only set I havn't seen at all is for a dexta.

all depends on yor 4000.. is it the pre 65 4 cyl? .. then after a few months you will likely find a set..

I will look in my parts book when i get back from lunch to determine what component you have.. but sounds correct for the 5.5" box for the 4 cyl tractors ( yours is the 4 cyl.. right? early 4-cyl 4000's are essentially an 801 that has been updated.).

There will be 3 brackets.. a small one out of 3/8 plate that goes from under the tranny to the 'heel' of the laoder.

there will be a big 1/2" plate one that bolts under the front axle with the 'hole' to the left.

And the most important.. a 'hip' bracket with a NUB on it.. this bolts to the trans bellhopusing and fits the slot inthe box onthe laoder.. then you use a retianer pin to hold the box onto the nub.. pin goes thru a slot in the box.

If you have a ford style aux valve, it will bolt up to the lift cover.. depending onthe number of spools and the design will tell you whether you need a seperate loder valve or not.

If this is not a ASC type valve, it will not require the 3pt control to be lifted, as it diverts the oil ahead of the 3pt.

I have pdf copies of the manuals for the 722/711 loaders you will want.

the pdf manuals are rather large.. I doubt they email very well... now that i have tried a few times... they's go easier on a cd in the usmail..e tc.

as for a 1-arm on an 8n.

tere was a very specific bracket kit they made for it. if you don't have the brackets.. you got a snowballs chance. I mean.. yeah.. if you can custom cast and have the fabrication capabilities to make all the intracate brackets for atop the motor head, front bolster, and rear brackets.. then yeah.. maybee.
