Thanks. Had to cut down a couple small trees to pull it out of the weeds.Amazing what a power washer can reveal

Points, condenser, cap, & coil along with fuel system clean out & fresh fuel and she fired up. Today she gets new differential, 3 pt, motor, & transmission oils

Just brought this home today. Loader isn’t hooked up, it’s just mounted to the tractor. Tractor is a 960 but the clutch isn’t right, it’s not live PTO now which isn’t a big deal. One tire won’t hold air in the front so loading was a pain in the arse lol. Runs good and clutch that’s in it feels good.

I haven’t decided if I’m gonna sell the loader and use 3pt attachments or hook the loader up and use a loader on a tractor with no power steering lol.

The loader has two female hoses (one for each cylinder), they would have to be plumbed together then to the rear remote on the tractor so it will lift, it’s a trip bucket loader. Not sure what all it would fit on.

A loader is handy as **** on a little tractor for little stuff but you can stress and break stuff in a hurry

I pulled the loader and gave the old girl a bath. She cleaned up good. I’m gonna sell the loader, I’m not a fan of it. I plan to replace the front tires on the tractor, one is bad so might as well do both. Rears are ok, one is Firestone, the other Goodyear.

I don’t have any pics of it but I will post some. A buddy is building up a 8n to slow it down lol.

He’s got a 8n with combo Sherman transmission. He found and just installed a Howard Gear Reduction, it’s designed to lower ground speed while not slowing PTO speed. Sherman step down trans lowers PTO and ground speed.

I brought up having a slow tractor race at our tractor clubs next show lol. I will post pics of that also if he wins. My 960 isn’t nearly as slow as his 8n now lol. The guy I brought it up in the club to is a F-Farmall collector, he said he can ****** the timing in one of his F series tractors, install smaller wheels and it should be a good (slow) race with that 8n lol
