I sure liked those walking stick decorations. On decent sticks, I bet they'd sell. My daughter got me a carved stick a few years back, with an old bearded face on it....looks like something Gandalf might carry, but no iron decoration. Then the other kids decided I needed a collection of sticks since I liked that one so well. Or was it that they just figured the old man needed something to help him get around? Anyway, I now have sticks from my one son's navy trips and another carved by my other son. A good looking stick, with one of those cast iron gargoyles or some such, would probably make very good craft fair fare.

I was planning on going to HABA's meeting at Tudor Forge in Magnolia on the 22nd. I need to update my computer so I can load the latest Adobe Acrobat reader to check out their latest newsletter.
