I see this one from a year ago, but the wording is confusing as whether it was just the racks inside the building or the exterior structure as well:

That chain reaction would never have happened if those racks were properly anchored.

Proper training is key to safe operation. If Tobe Hooper and Rob Zombie ever made a safety video, it would look a lot like this:

Those rack rails probably were close to if not over capacity. News article stated 20 kg cheese blocks. From the pictures that would be about 6,000 pounds per shelf. 15 tons per bay. shared columns with no diagonal bracing down the row. Initial hit flexed a rack rail causing it to fail and pulling the columns triggering failures in the next bay. Suspect the warehouse was originally spec'd for lighter loading on that racking. Would not want to be the facility engineer in that warehouse.

Fork truck guarding worked as designed. It took 8 hours for rescue crew to cut through wall and dig him out of the cheese.
