Forks, Bolt-On, Do they work ?

Maybe take a pic of the mounting bracket. Maybe yours is more robust than what they show on the Amazon website?

Those are definitely nicer than the standard clamp-on forks.
I looked through a lot of forks and read the complaints. Most could have been solved with what I bought - and they were. I don't blame folks for being skeptical, there is a lot of junk out there for that price range.

It looks very much like your picture. It appears to be well engineered.
That box section you are looking at is stronger than what you are thinking.
The bolt is much bigger than the others I looked at too.

The bracket itself looks strong enough, it's just that it doesn't look like many treads can engage on that lockdown bolt. The debris forks themselves look pretty handy.

Wish I had known about debris forks yeas ago.
Yesterday I cleared a brush pile with tree trunks dropped on the pile.
Would have taken me 2 days by hand (I'm getting old)
Whole pile moved in an hour in rough conditions.

So long as you don't exceed the rated capacity of bolt on forks and are aware that they can bend the bottom sheet on your material bucket if abused, They are ok.

My Kubota B2601 can lift less than 1500 pounds. Forks are rated for 2500 pounds. I tried to lift a tree trunk and no go but no damage.
It sounds like many of the bolt on forks will not live up to their ratings?????

Not sure as I only use SSQA forks. I do know they will bend a bottom sheet on a bucket, I've repaired a few in the past.

Since I rarely have a use for forks, I bought the cheaper ones. Mistake...
They have to be tourqued down very hard, and even with stabilizer bars, they shift. I torqued so hard, the bolt threads crushed. Cheap bolts. The company refunded my money minus shipping and I got to keep the product. Forks themselves are good strong steel, I will find a project for. Bought an upgraded fork from a different company. Threads don't crush, but forks still move some. Retorque every few loads. For what I use for, I can live with.

We have all bought products that are less than we hoped for.
Rarely we find something better than expected.
These exceeded my expectations and that is why I shared my experience.
