Forney 42450 hardfacing

Any experience with this rod? It appears to have good hardness RC 52-58.

It looks better than Stoody 31 which a lot of people recommend. It is also a a lot less money. Maybe I am missing something.

Says Moderate Abrasion and Low Impact. 31 is aclick better if that's how you rate them. Because Forney doesn't make anything, I'm sure the rod is Chinese. That doesn't mke it bad, It's just not a USA product that would bring higher price with much better alloys. It always comes down to the application. If the Forney rod fit my application I'd probably buy it too.
