Thanks Guys, For the pat on the back. Just got back, glad you are pleased, Rob.the step by step is not as complete and some of yours but thanks. We have been getting rain. When the sun shines I'll see about some paint. I'll use synthetic enamel, not easy to get in California. I have some DuPont red from a CJ5 that is just about right. Richard

I was also going to say use a fiberglass kit they can do wonders. I had to fix my top with a fiber kit came out strong but still have to finish {sanding and paint}. You have done a very nice job.

20 20, I had a 4ft roll of fiber glass cloth, a gallon of resin and fast resin hardner on the shelf. I laid 4 to 6 layers of cloth, depending on the area I was working, making sure the cloth was transparent before putting on the next layer. I used the fast hardner, the weather was colder here when I was laying the cloth. Thanks for posting. Richard

Here is a view of the glassing. If you can't see through the glass cloth it will have no strength.
