If you can wait until monday I can get you some in cab pictures and depending on where you are in Canada you can come and take one for a test drive.

I can tell you it's a much better cab than the FT40. The tractor overall is incredible for a chinese tractor. I can't say enough good things about the Fotons and especially the 82. Hopefully in a few months we will also be getting the 125hp in. Which is even BIGGER.

I think it was a Foton 82 I saw trucking on down the street the other day.

I was just amazed at how quiet it was when it went past me going the other way. Really looked like a nice machine.

Here are the pics of the 125 and the 160. The biggest model they have is 182.

Currently they are only EPA certified up to 125. 125+ are available with dual rear wheels, etc...

Thanks for the pics and I was just wondering on the 824 how the 16x8 shuttle worked is there a third gearshift? and I also saw that you could assemble the tractor on your own and i would like to know if anyone knows what thet involves.

The 824 we got was non shuttle.

As for assembly on them, I don't reccomend unless you have a full size shop and equipment. They ship on steel discs for the back wheels. You will need a large jack at the least. A wheel lift will aid in putting the tires on. The rest are simple things such as 3PH arms, weights, etc...

The big job is servicing the tractor. You have to drain all fluids, change all filters, etc... There are large amounts of fluids in this tractor and you will need something to drain them in.

There is also a matter of transporting the tractor. You will need a 10,000lb float trailer with ramps and chains to tie it down.

And finally, by having a dealer assemble your tractor they can catch any problems with the tractor you might not notice. This can save you future headaches.

What I would really like to see in the larger tractors from Foton is a powershift transmission, the same as the ones in the Changlin/Foton loaders.

Once this is available they can truely compete with the big name machines.

Neat and tight remote and hitch controls. Far better than the 30/40 series.
