The older Ford like New hollands were still made in India or Pakistan. I think they still make the same ones today under another label. I like the Indian Ford good heavy machine.
I think it's Escorts in India and I believe they still make some models for Farmtrac
Escorts in fact owns controlling interest in Farmtrac (formerly Long), making Farmtrac an actual manufacturer, althought they do import their CUTs from LS (formerly LG) in S Korea. They made tractors under license for Ford beginning in 1969, but did not sell out to NH (now owned by FIAT, or FIATs parent company) in the 1980s changed the brand name on these tractors from Ford to Farmtrac. So the Longs used to be based on Fiat tractors but are now called Farmtrac and are Ford based tractors with re-baged CUT models and NH used to be Ford based tractor and are now a Fiat based tractor, with rebaged CUTs.... crazy world...
