I went to the effort to get the mating connector. But because I wired in two wires, it wouldn't fit so I shoved in the male connectors and used electrical tape to seal it. So wasted effort, there.

Pretty pleased so far. I don't use the headlights anymore. Added bonus is that when I put the bar down to back into the garage it becomes and awesome backup light.

Worked until about 5:30 last night.

I've looked at this thread a few different times and thought how great it would be to have a cam when hooking onto a trailer.. ( I don't own a tractor) just a pick up ;-) then when I was backing up the trailer one day I thought geez it would be nice to have a cam on the back of the trailer to know when im getting close to the garage as my depth perception seems to suck when backing up with a mirror... have any of you guys added one to a truck and give a guy an idea what product you used? any of you done the truck and the trailer like I mentioned? I guess it would have to be wireless??

Waxman has a camera on his fel looking down at the bucket/palletforks/etc. I don't think his is wireless but on the trailer it wouldn't have to be either, just have a pigtail at the trailer connection and plug it in when you connect the lights/brakes.
