Copy the above link or click on it, to see a pic of mine. It was right after I had done a little work, and painted it with rattle cans, and installed new decals.
You may notice that I have wide turf tires on the rear. My front tires are set out wide to match the outside edge of the rears. And yes, they are adjustable. I use mine mostly for mowing and it makes the tractor very stable for slopes and crossing shallow ditches.
I bought mine from a JD dealer and paid them $1500 for it. I couldn't turn down the deal. I had to buy a battery and cables, new front tires, a head gasket, and a valve cover gasket. (The paint and decals were not neccessary, but sure improved the looks.) I later bought a fuel filter/shut off valve and changed the hyd fluid and filter. The 3 pt hitch became very slow but the filter and fluid change fixed it.
I still have less than $3000 in it, but I wouldn't sell it for $6000.
I somtimes wish I had ag type tires on the rear. The turfs are so wide I have to use 7 ft wide attachments to cover the tire tracks. Let me tell you, an 84" rear finish mower mows fine, but the front end gets very light when it is raised. Using a breaking plow is out of the question, the rears just don't work with it.
The only other thing I've done is replace the water pump this last weekend. It was seeping water from the weep hole in the bottom. When I took it off, the bearings were in worse shape than I thought. I'm glad I caught it before it sent the fan into the radiator.
Good luck with your search.
