If i lower the rippers and tear up the land that is plagued with privet and woody shrubs, I can remove most of the shrubs and within a few weeks the field will look great and grassy. Is there an implement or technique that works better than what I'm currently doing? Does a disc harrow do this better? Does a dedicated ripper work better? There are too many rocks to use a light piece of equipment. I'm trying to get rid of undergrowth and increase my mowable area.

Piranha tooth bar works wonderfully with minimal ground disturbance. EA wicked toothbar probably would too. Can clear undergrowth faster than grapple. Easy to back drag to smooth for less mower damage.

I pluck hundreds of privet, Russian olive, and multiflora rose plants I can’t mow over with Danuser Intimdator. Also trees growing where they shouldn’t be. Especially around buildings, fences and trees. Never ending chore.

I have a pirahna bar. Love it. Grapple too. The box blade is a no brain thing though. Just drive around mindlessly and it pops them up .
