Rear Blade Found me a Dearborn 19-5 blade but is the price worth it?

I bought my 7' for $75.

I agree with others, $100 tops (and offer to plow the driveway on the way out)

It is a regional thing but I'd agree with LD1 that a typical Midwest price would be $75 to maybe $100. They are good candidates to rebuild and repaint the correct colors. Like that, they could bring $200 on a Saturday auction in a populated area.

He likely won't get any Craig's List serious bites but he will get some low ballers offering him $75 or so. Maybe you could let the guy know you have an interest but the price is more than you want to pay? I've done that and you have to address it carefully.

I bought a NEW King Kutter 84" blade last June (Amazon/Northern Tool) for $449 (plus $155 shipping - 1000 miles), $604 total.
It is an offset type (12" offset to either side), but it is NASTY to adjust!
King Kutter is made in the USA, but the assembly of my blade is not precise, (they need a jig) and the paint job is not good.
Knowing what I know now, I would buy the Everything Attachments blade. I am an old guy, and it looks VERY handy to adjust!
They have a video on their website that shows how the blade adjusts.
EA gets $754 for their 84" blade, and shipping (within 1000 miles) is included.
I know the EA blade is quite a bit more expensive, but you will likely never need to buy another blade.
You might want to check out the Everything Attachments site. They have some nice looking stuff!
The guy who wants $400 for that old junk blade is out of his mind!

Thanks for your input, much appreciated. You're correct, EA does have a nice blade and I like how it adjusts. Can't beat USA made products and it'll last me a life time. It is still in my radar.
