Good to hear you're back in the saddle Dave. Did the dealer offer any explanation for the failure? Hope it was a "onesey" and not an inherent problem /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Dave, that's great news about your tractor repair. Did your dealer tell you anything about what he intends to do with the old part, like send it back to NH for failure analysis? I know you will enjoy your remotes too. Once you hook something to one or both of them, you'll wonder how you ever got along without them. I'm approaching that "magic" 300 hr mark on my tractor and from the sound of things, I'd better get ready to break into my piggy-bank to pay for the filters. I just changed engine oil and that filter is only $7.00. It seems I heard someone say the hydraulic filter is about $50.00 /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif, but I'm not sure. My dealer has stools at the parts counter. I'll be sure to be sitting on one of them when I go in to get my filters./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

have them give you filter number sba340500730 this filter has a dealer list price of $48.47 The only difference with this filter and the one you have on there now is the color it is blue the gray filter part number sba340500850 list for 51.67 if you do not mind the color difference that is.. If your dealer does not believe this to be correct have him refer to service bulletin RQ8494 on the dealer asist system.

They did not say and as I was in a hurry did not think to ask.

Hope the piggy bank is substantial as you saw. Just spent roughly $150 for all the filters I needed. The only one that was in fine condition was the inner air filter./w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

Be sure they have the smelling salts ready too! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
