Bird,

It's funny how a picture like this will circulate around the internet with half a dozen different discriptions and locations. Actually, as the subject of this post says, I found it in my backyard... in my granddaughter's wading pool. Really! I did!/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

I work at the Shell plant they say it came from, but nobody here knows about it. They are good about posting things like that on the email, safety and all.

The one I seen had a nest of rattlesnakes too! Really not sure if it is for real or not. I also heard it was at Exxon in Baytown, but none of the operators I know over there has heard anything.

It could be legit, and they are keeping this one quiet who knows...

GeeWhizzzzzzzzz!!!! If that thing came form anywhere in the US (and the picture isn't a masterpiece of some digital wizard) I sure would like to know where it really was so I could arrange to not go there. There are gators in southeastern Oklahoma but just itsy bitsy ones compared to that beheamoth. Quite some time back a gator made it as far up the south Canadian (relax Egon, nothing to do with Canada hey) river as Norman, Oklahoma home of Oklahoma University/Sooners football team.

Biggest excitement around here is a reported puma/mountain lion sighting about 6 miles away.
