I don't thing it's a bender die, I thing it is for a cable to ride on.

Or it could be part of a farm implement. Walking the fields I sometimes find pieces of farm equipment that fell off 50 years ago.

To me it looks like part of what was once a bushing for a slow moving shaft on a farm implement. For example the shaft that raises the implement out of the ground. They were often made out of cast iron and held in place with a piece of steel on each side. That's what the shoulder on each side would be for.

Appears to be cast aluminum, i'm guessing it's part of a pipe flange...
