Found used Mule, asking price high, what do you think?

I am like you, accessories do not add much to the price unless the buyer really wants that accessory. Accessories may be worth 15-25% of original value. I think his price is too high. He has the older model. Newer model has front end that looks a little like a Jeep to me. I think $7000-7500 is more reasonable.

The seller is delusional at that price. 1/2 the new price would probably be more than fair. The range is probably 5000-6500. I can tell you that if you do give a "fair" offer the owner will probably take offense. I'd just tell him that you understand his asking price but only have $XXXX to spend, if he fails to sell and wants that money you will have it until ____date.

Retail not including the extras is around $6800 which would be a fair price for one where I live. I have found that retail and private sale are close on these units. I picked up a 2005 610 mule and the cheapest I could find one was $4500 with 175 hours and I really looked. They do bring pretty good money and with good reason...they are extremely useful. I think that diesel is around 950cc's which should be pretty powerful for that size of a unit. I would say if you can get it for around $7000 you are doing well. Look around on Ebay as well and see what these are going for.

I went with a mini truck rather than the ATC etc. and I can tell you now after 6 months this thing is invaluable.

The bed it two and three times bigger than some of the utility vehicles and it is also 4 wheel drive.

Price wise I saved about 6-7k

I'm one happy camper.

Only draw back it's right side drive, not enough of an issue for what I get with a mini pickup truck.
