FRAM® SureDRAIN™ Oil Change System

I havent used that one Mike but this is something I am using now on my truck <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.fumotovalve.com/>Fumoto</A>.

The fram looks a lot more secure if you are 4 wheeling somewhere.

Interesting product as well. I'm always looking for things that will make jobs like oil changes easier. I figure the easier it is, the more likely I am to do it.

What is frustrating about the information is that they only provide a bit of information. Also, I checked their product offerings and it appears as though that Fram only makes stuff for Cars and Trucks - no JD or NH mentioned regarding their product offerings.

Is there a "standard" for the thread sizes on oil pans or a range for the oil plugs?

Terry, good question. I sent Fram an email asking if one of the SureDrain models would fit my TC25D.

I would try to find out the drain plug bolt size and depth, then e-mail or call Fram to see if they have one that matches. I'm doing that next time I change the oil in my tractor.

This is an interesting concept. I just wish they would come up with something to help with the filter change. A couple of my vehicles have the filter almost hidden way up on the side of the engine and by the time you get it off and out you have oil all over everything (especially yourself).

As far as my tractor I don't think I would trust something like this on it. Going over stumps and limbs could cause it to spring a leak/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif. A Kubota without oil would not be a good thing.
