Fram 3593 oil filter

The Fram 3593 oil filter pysically matched up to my 1500D but is there a bypass in the Yanmar filter. It sure looked like there was some sort of mechanism inside the filter. Is the Fram filter suitable?

Maybe just this guys opinion, but NAPA/WIX filters are only about 4 bucks. I think Yanmar maybe the same.

I read another study that really trashed the Fram filters. The WIX 51344 and 51334 are listed in the WIX catalog for John Deere using Yanmar engines.

Baldwin B179 is correct as well. It is listed for Kubota and Yanmar industrial engines. Plus it is red and looks good.....

I cross referenced oil filters when I bought my 790. The WIX 51334 ($5.27 local cost) crosses with Deere M801209 ($6.24 locally), Mobil 1 M1-104 ( cost to much locally), Baldwin B488, Purolator (sp) L14459.

I don't use Fram filters, no cardboard end caps for me.
